Over the holidays P. and I rented 500 Days of Summer. And while the movie had its cute moments and some annoying ones, overall I really was quite smitten with Zooey Deschanel's funky, vintage-inspired wardrobe. Yes, all of us Bloomers seem to have a major lady crush on Zooey and we have expressed our adoration here too. I am yearning for some Zooey bangs!
In the movie, her character Summer always wore a piece of blue clothing to match her eyes, according to costume designer Hope Hanafin in this interview. And surprisingly, while many of her pieces were vintage, a lot of them came from Old Navy, GAP and BCBG. Read: it could actually be affordable to copy this cute movie star's style!
I admired the Tom character's outfit here too...despite the fact I found him a tad too needy/clingy {and it made me claustrophobic}. But I'm digging his stripey tie!
