I don't really care that it's so cold out today and that the leaves are changing, I still have hope that summer will come back! So anyway, I liked this outfit and I can't remember where I found the picture. I had just saved it in my files as inspiration, but alas, I didn't find a long sleeve button up shirt that I liked enough this summer to wear this outfit :( When you're a small person, a long sleeve button up is hard to find! If anyone knows where the pic is from, let me know!

j.crew ballerinas

I got the J.Crew catalog for September 2011 in the mail - oh my it is yummy. How did they know I love ballerinas? It reminds me of the ballerinas in the Kanye West performance I blogged about a while ago. I just love this type of thang!! Yummy!

science-inspired fleurs!

Sorry about the slow posts Bloomers...busy bees we are! I thought I'd show you a little science inspired flower arrangement that I made for Helix BioPharma Corp.'s staff party yesterday! You will remember Shayna Bloomer's previous posts on "nerdy" decor here and here. Using real test tube holders from my own father's laboratory 20-30 years ago (talk about authentic!), I put little button mums inside, and the results made me feel happy snappy! What do you think?

sage's 1st bday party!

Hey Bloomers, a few weeks ago we had a birthday party for Mrs. Sage! Joelle Bloomer takes all the credit, she did a great job...and how with a little beber? This is love! AND, she moved into her new house the same week...sheesh! It was a picnic theme with red and white...lots of cool patterns, and some blue thrown in there for good measure. Beautiful!! Here's the latest on Noameo, Shayna Bloomer's baby munchkin. Holy moly these pics are hilariously cute. Like Craigger pointed out, little Noam's just checking the 1920s stock ticker. He's so darned cute, I could just smush him in the biggest hug ever!
