miss cuppie visits short and sweet cupcakes

This week sweetspot.ca featured a new cupcake shop in town...Short and Sweet Cupcakes! In search of an adventure, my friend J. joined me for a cuppie investigation. This cute little shop just opened at the end of December, but is already hustling and bustling in the wonderful neighbourhood of Avenue Road and Lawrence. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the cute decor - the pink shelving, a chalkboard sign sporting patriotic messages, a sparkling chandelier, and of course the colourful and flavourful array of the object of our mission, the very reason why we drove 30 minutes to the shop: the cupcakes!

They were delicious, and I will admit I was a bit of a piggie, even for a prego lady...I taste-tested many flavours including banana caramel, chocolate, mocha, red velvet, and oreo. All were amazing. And I must tell you that the shop owner Orli is a sweet, sweet woman.

My rate card for Short and Sweet Cupcakes:

Cupcake decor and aesthetic = delightful
Cupcake variety = a-plenty
Cupcake taste = yummy
Cupcake icing = double yummy
Shop decor = adorable
Shop owner = as sweet at the cuppies themselves

By the way, thumbs up from Baby Bloomer too...there were plenty of kicks of pleasure!
